Update. Still an awesome spot. The owner and his staff are always helpful. He gives solid offers if you need to sell your record collection. They also offer music lessons. Clean store, nice layout. Prices were better than expected. The person working was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me look up some Radiohead albums that are hard to find. Will definitely be back.
My son has taken piano lessons from Joe for the last three years and I wouldn’t take him anywhere else! He has learned so much about reading music and Joe’s style of teaching is a perfect match for him. During the lesson I love to look through their amazing record selection too. We love J&B music!
Instructors are talented musicians, great with kids, organized, affordable and convenient. My children have been students at J&B for 8 years. We’ve taken piano, guitar, and voice. Friendliest staff around! Can’t wait to see their new location.

Their big sign on the building says “Record store”. I walked in and they said “Oh, we moved them to a new location, in Lisle, it’s a bar.” Yeah, I’d probably update your huge sign that says “Record Store”, just a thought. Maybe the next person won’t make the trip knowing your record store doesn’t sell records.
Stopped at the store while in the area. The young man behind the counter was very nice and helpful. The selection was diverse and I found a few things to take home.
