I used Tanner Construction for a bedroom addition to our home. I was very pleased to get a quote from the owner of the company himself and not just another worker. Chris was professional and helped us realize our dream and more. With his guidance I was able to budget in an amazing back patio/kitchen. I received almost daily updates from our manager, Nick, and site visits from the supervisors throughout the project. We are very pleased with the results and are already planning a primary bath and kitchen renovation next year.
Tanner Construction enclosed a screen porch to create a four seasons room. I felt they listened to me, met my cost requirements, and if anything was done incorrectly, they immediately took care of it. The project manager, Clay, was very attentive and explained every step that was being taken.
Chris Tanner is a man of his word. We just completed a complete remodel of a house built in 1959. Chris and his team took care of everything from electrical, plumbing, windows, AC, water heater, all new bathrooms, roof, etc. Our 1959 house is brand new from top to bottom and Chris made sure that we were 100% happy with every detail. I highly recommend Chris Tanner and Tanner Construction Group for any project you would like to have done. Chris is fair on price, great on follow-through and will personally ensure your satisfaction with the work they do. We couldn’t be happier. Thanks for everything Tanner Construction.

I’m not sure who is leaving reviews for this organization but Tanner Construction Group are not deserving of any stars. They have had our deposit for 15 months and have not performed any work. Only empty promises and incompetence. I say this since they sent us the wrong drawing for our project. When we questioned the drawing, we were told “just sign that one so we can apply for a permit” how about NO. We are filing a police report with the authorities in Port Charlotte to report fraud. Since they have taken our money and refuse to provide services. Taking advantage of an elderly couple in need of help is pretty low. Do not do business with these charlatans pretending to be construction professionals.
This company seems to prey on the elder community, buyer beware. They have had my parents’ deposit for almost a year and a half and have refused to perform any work. They applied for permits twice but have let both permits expire with no work performed. Empty promises and lies should be their company slogan, it is clearly their corporate mission statement.
